The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in the parking lot next to Scotiabank on Scott Boulevard near Derry Road in Milton.
The incident was first reported by the HRPS on social media at 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12th. It involved an adult male pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver remained on site and is cooperating with the investigation.
The HRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit attended to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Scott Boulevard between Derry Road and Wise Crossing was temporarily closed but has since reopened. Police remained in the plaza parking lot.
