Conservation Halton is inviting residents to take part in an ‘Invasive Plant Pull’ event this week.
On Wednesday, August 13th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., participants can help manage invasive plant species to boost biodiversity, strengthen creekside habitats, and improve ecological corridors stretching from Cootes Paradise to the Escarpment.
It’s taking place at Hidden Valley Park, located at 1137 Hidden Valley Road in Burlington.
Meet other community members passionate about restoration, and learn tips for managing invasive plants at home.
