The Town of Milton is launching a major infrastructure project to improve roads, safety, and essential services in the community.
Construction begins mid-August and is expected to wrap up by fall 2027, with work focused on Nipissing Road, Childs Drive, and Ontario Street South.
Key upgrades include widening Nipissing Road to three lanes with a new multi-use path and sidewalk, adding left-turn lanes on Childs Drive, and installing a right-turn lane and updated traffic signals on Ontario Street South. Sanitary sewer systems will also be upgraded across all three roads.
Work will take place in phases and may involve lane reductions, short-term closures, and some night and weekend work. Residents and businesses will receive advance notice, and driveway access will be maintained.
