Cricket will be getting a boost in Milton.
The Town is constructing a double-lane cricket batting cage at Optimist Park, located at 881 Savoline Bouelvard.
Construction will take place throughout the summer, with the batting cages expected to open in the spring of 2026. All other park amenities will remain open during construction. The construction area will be fenced off, and residents are asked to use caution near the site.
This is comparable with the work announced for pickleball earlier this summer.
