The Town of Milton is set to begin its semi-annual bridge and culvert maintenance program next month.
It’ll start on July 7, 2025, and it’s aimed at extending the lifespan of key municipal structures. Work will continue through the fall, with several closures and lane restrictions expected during the construction period.
Planned improvements include concrete repairs to both the surface and underside of bridge components, along with asphalt, curb, and sidewalk replacements near the structures. The maintenance will take place at the following five locations:
- Structure 13 – Conservation Road, 200 metres west of McNiven Road
- Structure 47 – McGeachie Drive, 500 metres west of Harrop Drive
- Structure 62 – 25 Side Road, 100 metres west of Guelph Line
- Structure 110 – Second Line Nassagaweya, 1.3 km south of 20 Side Road
- Structure 115 – Main Street East, 50 metres west of James Snow Parkway
Full road closures will be required at Structures 13, 62, and 110, while lane restrictions will be in place for Structures 47 and 115. Individual notices will be sent to residents and businesses directly impacted by the closures.
All updates and closures will be posted here.
Plan your travel accordingly and allow extra time when navigating these areas.
