The Town of Milton is bringing a fresh upgrade to Bristol District Park by converting the existing basketball court into new outdoor pickleball courts.
Located at 920 Kennedy Circle, the court transformation is set to take place over the summer months, with the new facilities expected to open to the public this fall.
During construction, residents are reminded that the pickleball court area will be closed, but all other amenities in the park will remain open. For safety reasons, the Town urges everyone to stay clear of the construction zone and be cautious while enjoying the park.
For those still looking to shoot some hoops, outdoor basketball courts are available at Ford Neighbourhood Park along Leger Way, Coates Neighbourhood Park South along Bolingbroke Drive, and Cobban Neighbourhood Park along Whitlock Avenue.
Once completed, the new pickleball courts will feature sports court fencing with windscreen, acrylic-coloured surfacing, line painting, permanent nets, and sports lighting.
