Have some clean, colourful 4L milk bags lying around? Don’t toss them – donate them!
Until Saturday, June 28th, you can drop off your clean, outer milk bags at any Milton Public Library location as part of a special donation drive.
These collected bags will be repurposed into sleeping mats for local shelters, offering comfort and care to those in need. Community members are also invited to take part in workshops to help weave the bags into mats. Extra donations will support the wider MilkBagsUnlimited initiative, which brings similar help to communities around the world.
Remember: they’re only collecting the outer, colourful bags. These are the ones that hold the three clear milk pouches. Clean them, dry them, and bring them in.
