The Milton Public Library is getting things ready for the Ocean Day Fair next month.
Hosted in partnership with Oceanic Impact, this family-friendly event invites the community to dive into the wonders of water conservation with hands-on science activities, art, and interactive exhibits from local organizations. Learn about ocean noise, plastic pollution, marine biology, sustainable seafood, native gardening, swan conservation, and much more.
The Ocean Day Fair is part of Ocean Week Canada and aims to inspire youth and families to protect our planet’s water systems. Organizers are still looking for passionate local groups, educators, and advocates to host booths, lead workshops, or give presentations. This is a great chance to share your work, educate the public, and encourage the next generation of environmental stewards.
Interested in participating? Submit your Exhibitor Form here by Monday, May 19th.
The Ocean Day Fair is happening on Saturday, June 8th at the Sherwood Library branch, located at 6355 Main Street West in Milton.
