2024 was a great year for The Salvation Army Khi Community!
The local Salvation Army managed to raise $166,353 through their 2024 Kettle Campaign over the course of the holiday season. They’ll use these funds to support more than 1300 Milton families who require access to the food bank, utility support program, and more.
“We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Milton’s Real Canadian Superstore, Walmart, Metro, and three
LCBO locations that graciously allowed us to set up fundraising Kettles in their spaces,” Family Services Director/Officer Ruth Hickman says in a release. “As always, this campaign rests on the shoulders of kind and generous community members who give both funds and time throughout the season. During this year’s 5-week campaign, nearly 200 volunteers gave more than 1000 hours of bell-ringing, spreading holiday cheer and receiving donations at our Kettles.”
While the annual Kettle Campaign has come to a close, donations are welcome all year and can be given online or by cash, cheque or debit/credit at their office during operating hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.).
