It’s not just local children getting in on the fun at the Milton Public Library (MPL).
Starting on Sunday, December 1st, the MPL is launching their Adult Advent Calendar, inviting adults in the community to get active and engage in daily challenges for the first 15 days of December.
CEO and Chief Librarian of the MPL Sarah Douglas-Murray discusses the new initiative.
Some of the challenges can be done in the comfort of your own home, while others involve going to an MPL branch and taking part in a workshop and tracking your progress through social media.
Douglas-Murray adds that you can take part in whichever days you want to, and don’t have to feel pressured into participating in every single challenge. The MPL also provides all kinds of activities for children, so parents can feel encouraged to bring their kids along for the trip.
