The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a carjacking in Halton Hills.
On Monday, November 4th, at roughly 5:45 p.m., a man was driving his Lexus SUV southbound on Eighth Line, north of Steeles Avenue, when another vehicle cut him off. The male suspect exited the suspect vehicle, threatened the victim, and demanded the victim hand over his SUV. The suspect then stole the vehicle and drove north on Eighth Line toward 5 Side Road.
The victim was unharmed and did not suffer any physical injuries. No weapons were observed or used during the incident.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- male
- around 20 years old
- wearing a face covering
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black Honda Civic sedan.
