CMV Inspection Blitz (2020)
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is currently performing their two-day commercial motor vehicle (CMV) enforcement blitz.
The initiative is held every year at Woodbine Mohawk Park in Campbellville. The purpose is to conduct proactive enforcement and ensure compliance with legislation pertaining to mechanical fitness, weights, load security, safety and licencing.
This time last year, 149 vehicles were taken off the road for failing the inspection. 290 total charges were laid to drivers and the companies.
