The Halton Police Board has approved a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the disappearance of Irma Galastica, or credible details confirming her current location.
In September of 2024 the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) began an investigation into the disappearance of Toronto resident Irma Galastica, who was last seen in Burlington on August 31st, 2024. Detectives have pursued various investigative channels in their efforts to locate Irma however her whereabouts remains unknown.
Family and police are concerned for Irma’s wellbeing. Investigators are hoping that the public offering of the reward will assist in motivating witnesses to come forward to provide new investigative leads, ultimately leading to Irma’s location.
“A family member and loved one is missing and that’s an emotional pain that is difficult to comprehend,” says Deputy Chief, Jeff Hill. “Our investigators have been working diligently, pursuing all available leads in their efforts to locate Irma. We offer this $25,000 reward as an incentive to anyone who may be able to help our investigators find her. If anyone has information we ask that you please come forward as any small detail may be the key to bringing Irma home.”

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is helping in the search for a missing Toronto woman.
32-year-old Irma of Toronto was initially reported missing to the Toronto Police Service and was last seen on Friday, August 30th in the Widdicombe Hill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue West area of Toronto.

Investigators now believe Irma was in the Burlington and Hamilton area on Saturday, August 31st.
She is described by the HRPS as 5’5” with a medium build and black shoulder length hair.
Police are concerned for her safety and anyone with information about Irma or her possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
