Additional charges have been laid in connection with a 2024 sexual assault investigation in Milton.
On Wednesday, June 4th, 59-year-old Ehsan Ansari of Milton was arrested and charged with two counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order.
Ansari’s release conditions prohibit him from continuing to practice healing services. Investigators determined Ansari has continued to operate a holistic centre in Milton under a new business name, “Sunnah Hijama”.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) believes there may be additional victims or witnesses who have received treatment by Ansari at either Holistic Hijama Benefits or Sunnah Hijama since September 5th, 2024. They are asked to consider contacting the HRPS.

A Milton man has been arrested following a reported sexual assault case at a local holistic centre.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) say 58-year-old Ehsan Ansari was the operator of Holistic Hojima, located on Weston Drive, at the time of the offence. They were contacted after a woman was sexually assaulted during a recent visit to the business.
On Wednesday, August 4th, Ansari was arrested and charged with two counts of Sexual Assault. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
In addition to his practice in Milton, investigators have confirmed that the accused has previously worked in Mississauga.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.
There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, you can still report it to police for investigation.
