The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged an Oakville teenager in connection to a series of break and enter cases at local residences.
Between February 3rd and March 13th, the HRPS responded to three separate break and enters occurring at three separate residences in Oakville. The Investigation determined the homes were unoccupied at the time and accessed by forcing entry through glass doors and windows. Property taken consisted of various personal items, including cash and banking cards. As a result of one of the break and enters, a Ford Explorer was stolen and later recovered in Hamilton.
As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, August 13th, a 16-year-old male resident of Oakville was arrested and charged with the following:
- Break and Enter – Commit an Indictable Offence (three Counts)
- Disguise with Intent (three Counts)
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
