Police have shared surveillance video of a daytime armed carjacking in Richmond Hill earlier this week.
Authorities responded to reports of a carjacking around 5 o’clock in the area of Highway 7 and Leslie Street Wednesday..
York Regional Police said the victim was in her vehicle when approached by a male suspect armed with a knife.
The suspect demanded the victim get out and took her keys then fled.
The woman was not physically injured.
Police say the suspect arrived as a passenger in a Honda CRV which was later found abandoned in Mississauga.. AND turned out to be stolen .
The woman’s Mercedes SUV was also located in Toronto.
Both suspects remain out-standing.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
