The Regional Municipality of Halton has applied for approval for the expropriation of lands in the Town of Halton Hills.
Construction is set to begin April 1 of 2026 on necessary work for the Winston Churchill and 17 Side Road Intersection Improvements Project.
Construction equipment would be moved in to enable drainage, grading and general work to take place.
The project is expected to last 3 years.
Land owners affected by the expropriation will be given the chance to object to the decision.
