Milton is having a Pride Parade this weekend!
Last month, the Town of Milton proclaimed June as Pride Month, and raised a flag at Town Hall. Now, just a few weeks later, the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies can celebrate Pride with a parade.
It’s being organized by PRISM Halton. Founder and Chair Melanie Tremills is hoping this year is bigger and better than ever!
Tremills adds that they hope the parade continues to be an annual event that grows within the local community.
The second annual Halton Pride Parade will roll right down Main Street in Milton on Sunday, July 14th. A vendor market will open up at noon, with parade itself starting at 2:00 p.m.
