What’s your dream concert?
I’ve been thinking about this all weekend after my friend mentioned they’re planning to see Bruce Springsteen live in November. I thought that was an excellent name to throw out there first. Would be even better to see Springsteen live in New Jersey!
Who is at the top of your concert bucket list?
Let me know!

Daily WTF – Cyclist fined for kissing wife during Tour de France
The Tour de France is underway, with trials taking place. French cyclist Julien Bernard was one of the many people looking to qualify and he’s making all the headlines today. That’s because he was fined for kissing his wife during the trials. You might ask, “how did a cyclist kiss their wife while cycling?” The answer: he stopped! During Stage Seven, BErnard was trying to beat the clock to get the best time. At the top of a long climb, he saw his wife and young son cheering him on. He managed to stop, kiss her, and keep going. Because of this decision, the French cyclist has been fined 200 Swiss Francs. That’s just over $300 CAD. Talk about an expensive kiss!

Pro wrestling superstar John Cena announces upcoming retirement during Toronto event
WWE was in Toronto this past weekend. It was their Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, which is a pretty big annual show for the company. Local fans got a big surprise as ‘The Franchise’; ‘The Goat’; ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics’ himself, John Cena, made an unannounced appearance. In the middle of the ring, Cena announced that 2025 will be his last year in professional wrestling. “The Last Time is Now,” he said. So, if you’re a wrestling fan and want to see the 16-time World Champion compete one last time, next year is the year. And if you’re not a wrestling fan, but maybe your kids are or your partner is, well, here’s an open net gift for them next year. Doesn’t get easier than this.
Google searches show what Americans look up the most about Canadians
As Canadians, we’re almost forced to know everything that is happening south of the border. Thing is, it doesn’t work the other way around in this international relationship. For Americans, us Canadians are kind of a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. So, a study has shown what Americans are googling when it comes to Canadians. They want to know why we’re so friendly and polite, which is nice to see. They’re curious about how and why we pronounce certain words certain ways, such as ‘about’ and ‘sorry’. Canadian Thanksgiving is also a big mystery to Americans, and they’re confused as to why we celebrate it in October. You know, I once had an American in South Carolina ask me if we all live in igloos and kept polar bears as pets, and this man was serious. So, could have been worse!
Travis Kelce reveals why he went on stage with girlfriend Taylor Swift during Eras Tour concert
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be the most famous celebrity couple on the planet right now. They recently made headlines after Kelce appeared on stage during Swift’s performance in London. He took the spot of the main back-up dancers, doing a toe-tap and carrying Taylor to her next spot. People were freaking out online, saying, “she’s just using him to make headlines,” and, “how dare she use him like a piece of meat for show.” Well, it was actually his idea and she loved it, so people can stop freaking out about that. Like, wow, you mean the guy who performed the ‘stanky leg’ at the Super Bowl likes to perform in front of people? Who would have thought!

Netflix has officially axed its cheapest ad-free plan in Canada
Your Netflix plan might have gotten more expensive the last few days. They have officially removed their cheapest ad-free tier from their services. This was first announced back in April, which angered a lot of people. Subscribers now have to decide between the cheap $5.99 a month tier with ads, or bump up to $16.49 without ads. Isn’t that fun?!
