It’s been a hot start to summer, and a local councillor is looking to help you beat the heat.
Milton’s Ward 3 Town Councillor, Adil Khalqi, is inviting residents to Cobban Neighbourhood Park on Saturday, July 13th. He’ll be providing anyone and everyone with free popsicles, as long as supplies last.
He says the goal is to connect with the community and encourage the use of local parks. If you have any thoughts, issues or concerns that you’d like Councillor Khalqi to address, this will be the ideal time to present them to him.
The free event will start at 7:00 p.m. at 840 Whitlock Avenue in Milton.
