My wife has been dealing with insomnia the last few days.
Yes, more sleeping issues. I feel like I ask this question every few months!
She’s been lucky to get about an hour or two of sleep a night.
Do you have any tricks for dealing with sleep issues? What helps you fall asleep?
Let me know!

Daily WTF – Fake cop arrested after attempting to pull over real detective
You’ve heard of ‘good cop, bad cop’; well, this is ‘fake cop, real cop’. A 45-year-old man from Mississippi was driving around using blue and white lights on his vehicle. He was even conducting traffic stops on other motorists. That was until he pulled over an unmarked police car. However, the fake cop didn’t stop after flashing the lights, and drove past the pulled over cop car. That’s when the detective behind the wheel went into action. The impersonator handed over a fake U.S. Marshals Service ID card and referred to himself as a “deputy.” He was arrested and charged.

Panthers defeat Oilers 2-1 in Game 7 to win Florida’s 1st ever Stanley Cup
Well, the Oilers couldn’t pull it off. After being down 3-0 in the seven-game series, the Edmonton Oilers managed to tie the series up to take it to a sudden-death game seven. They went down by a goal early last night, but tied things up immediately. Florida then scored the go ahead goal in the second period, and that was the game winner. It’s the first Stanley Cup in Panthers franchise history, after losing in the finals twice before. That means it’ll be another year that a Canadian team doesn’t have ol’ Lord Stanley. It is what it is! Condolences to all the Oilers fans out there. This must be a hard morning to get up for; but, as a Leafs fan, you and I both know, there’s always next year.
Milton’s Town Hall and Hugh Foster Hall going under construction

Vanna White might quit ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ ‘doesn’t jibe’ with Ryan Seacrest: report
It took just over a week before the rumour mill started turning. Vanna White is potentially looking to leave Wheel of Fortune following the departure of Pat Sajak. This has long been speculated, but the reports are starting up again. When Sajak first announced that he was leaving, White was in the news for wanting a salary increase. The report was that she was offended by how much Ryan Seacrest was going to make, while her salary remained still despite being there for 40-years. And let’s be honest, Vanna White IS Wheel of Fortune. So, she got her pay raise! But, with Sajak now gone, reports say White and Seacrest do not mesh well. The exact quote was “she doesn’t jibe” with him. There’s still a bit of time left before the next season of the show airs, as Seacrest’s first episode comes out in September. We’ll see if Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest can find some chemistry, and if not, it will very much be a different show in a few months…
GOOD NEWS – Missing hiker survives by drinking water gathered in boot
How long could you last in the wild? Lukas McClish of California was supposed to be on a three-hour hike earlier this month, but lost his way. Landmarks on the trail had been destroyed by recent wildfires, and so he soon found himself wandering through forests of burnt ash. He managed to survive this whole endeavor by eating wild berries and drinking rain water from his boot. After 10-days, he was found… And that is some good news!

The City of Toronto is tired of a persistent problem they’ve had over the years. Invasive plants have been found all over the city, and officials have looked for creative solutions. Enter their “eco-herd” of goats. Toronto is launching a new urban grazing pilot in which goats will be used to eat up all of the invasive plants. This pilot project will take place at at Don Valley Brick Works Park. The goats will only be used for grazing, and they’ll be provided water and shelter. There will also be 24-hour supervision on the goats. What happens to them when the project is over? Well, I’ve seen this episode of The Simpsons before…
