You could help take care of a local park through a new program!
Last year, Town Council approved the new Adopt-a-Park program. Starting this month, the Town of Milton will be offering community volunteers, local organizations and Milton residents the opportunity to strengthen neighborhood pride and increase the overall aesthetics of our local parks, roads, and trails.
Park, trail or road adopters will agree to host a spring and fall clean-up, and in return the Town of Milton will be providing volunteer groups with tools (garbage bags, gloves, safety tips…etc.) in order to perform these cleanups successfully and stay safe while doing so.
“The Town is excited to introduce our new Adopt-a-Park program,” Doug Sampano, Commissioner, Community Services. “This program will allow and encourage local organizations and volunteer groups to partner with the Town of Milton in a joint effort to keep our beautiful community clean and green.”
