Travelling seems to be the first big test for couples!
A report says half of couples break up after their first trip together. It says that no matter how long you’ve been with your partner, you’re likely to learn something new about them on that first trip.
Sometimes that’s bad!
How was your first trip with your partner? Did everything go smoothly? Do you have any travelling horror stories you feel like sharing?
Let me know!

Daily WTF – Fears of a potato shortage after a ‘nightmare’ 12 months for growers
Ireland is probably not looking forward to this reboot! Due to flooding and frost, it’s been a rough 12 months for Irish potato farmers. To really drive home how bad it’s been, potatoes are meant to be planted in March and April. As we enter June this weekend, they still haven’t finished. It’s been nearly 200 years since the great potato famine in Ireland, which reportedly led to one million deaths. Another million fled the country, which severely impacted the country. It doesn’t seem like this shortage is anywhere close to the potato famine you know about, but it’s still getting pretty bad. It’s possible we could see a slight rise in price for potatoes, so get ready to see that at grocery stores. Will someone please think of the french fries???

GOOD NEWS – N.C. man shares half of $100,000 lottery prize with friend
I’m sure at some point in your life, you’ve made an agreement with a friend or relative involving the lottery. Something along the lines of, “If I ever win the lottery, you and I are splitting the money,” and they agree to do the same thing. Well, a North Carolina man won $100,000 recently, and he’s holding true to his word! The two pals made this agreement years ago and they play the lottery regularly. Well, now they both have $50,000 to show for their efforts. One of them will do some home renovations, while the other plans to save the money… And that’s some good news!
Donald Trump guilty on all counts in hush-money trial
Alright, let’s talk about it – the biggest story of the day… Former United States President Donald J. Trump has been found guilty in all 34 counts in his hush-money trial that’s been going on. He’s the first US President to be a convicted felon. When the unanimous verdict was announced, Trump called the trial rigged and disgraceful. He’s expected to appeal. If you’re wondering what’s to come of this, well, we’ll find out in just over a month. Sentencing is set for July 11th, which will be just a few days before the US Republicans name their nominee for this fall’s presidential election. There’s a serious chance Trump is running for president while serving prison time, which really makes it feel like we live in the weirdest timeline possible.
Pixar Sequels & Reboots On The Way, 2 Likely Franchises Reportedly Revealed
There’s a real possibility that a Pixar movie from your childhood or your kid’s childhood is rebooted. The movie studio is reportedly looking at all opportunities, and they’re focusing in on sequels and reboots for their major franchises. These include Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. What does that mean? Well, the wording suggests there could be a reboot for one of those movies. However, the more real possibility is we see The Incredibles 3 or a third Finding Nemo movie. But, if you’re someone who will be offended by a remake of Finding Nemo, I need you to be aware: that appears to be on the table… Expect the worst and be happy with anything different – Low Expectation Station, baby!
Man with suspended licence joins virtual court hearing — while driving
Forrest Gump’s mama always said, “stupid is as stupid does,” and boy is that true. Never judge a book by its cover but by the contents of its pages. A man appeared in a virtual court hearing while he was driving to his doctor’s office. He was physically behind the wheel and he made that very clear at the beginning of the hearing. Thing is, he was in that specific court hearing for driving without a license. As the judge points out, the man does not have a license. The awkward silence that follows when the man realizes what he has done is something of the most painful experiences you will ever sit through. Here’s the video. Yeah, stupid is as stupid does.
