The Milton Choristers will be putting on a fundraising Easter event.
Attendees will enjoy a performance of excerpts from the Second Part of Handel’s Messiah. The Choristers say that while this piece is typically done for Christmas, they consider it more of an Easter message.
Sing-alongs will be encouraged, with the Hallelujah Chorus expected to be the highlight of the performance.
Food and cash donations to the local food bank will be collected in lieu of admission.
It’s scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th at Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 170 Main Street East in Milton.
