A free family skate is being held at the Innisfil Recreation Centre hosted by the Innisfil Community Events Corp.on Dec. 31. at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A family fireworks show will be set off in the parking lot (7:15 p.m.)
Outdoor skating on the Town Square Skating Trail is also being offered 8 a.m. – 9 p.m..
Bradford West Gwillimbury
Family fun and Fireworks at the BWG Leisure Centre for the11th annual Family First Night event. December 31, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This event includes leisure skating, swimming, inflatable obstacle courses in the gymnasium, a toddler area, live musical entertainment, busker shows, a photobooth, a caricature artist, crafts and more!
Indoor activities will take place from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Outdoor activities will take place from 8p.m. – 9 p.m. with an LED light show and Fire Show.
The evening closes with a mini fireworks show at 9 p.m.
No cost to attend but non-perishable food items will be collected for the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank.

Barrie
Ring in the New Year in downtown Barrie!
This year’s free, family-friendly celebration features rock band Big Wreck as the headliner, Bleeker as the opening act and The Faculty as the local artist.
Sonshine and Broccoli will entertain the children.
The live musical performances, includes family activities, buskers as well as two fireworks shows – the first at approximately 8p.m. (for the youngsters) and the second at midnight.
