We now know the cause of a Christmas Day house fire in Burlington.
The blaze was first reported just after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 25th. Firefighters were called to a home on Glen View Avenue.
Three people were able escape the fire, but one person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. They have since been released.
Officials suspect the cause of the fire is electrical failure, with the fire starting at the front of the house and spreading to the second floor an attic.
Damage to the home is estimated at roughly $450,000.
