Milton is a pretty giving community!
With the year about to end, and the holidays being a time for giving, GoFundMe has released their list of the top 20 most generous communities in Canada. These are the towns and cities in the country where the residents have given the most to causes on the site.
Milton made the cut!

- Port Coquitlam, British Columbia
- Kitchener, Ontario
- Peterborough, Ontario
- Guelph, Ontario
- St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
- Toronto, Ontario
- Milton, Ontario
- Whitby, Ontario
- Barrie, Ontario
- Fredericton, New Brunswick
Milton is the only municipality from the Halton Region to make the top 20. It was also 7th among Ontario communities.
