The Milton Menace will look to keep their win streak alive as they welcome in the St. Michaels Buzzers.
This will be the first match-up of the season between the two teams, and according to our records, the first official game since both teams agreed to a trade one year ago.
It’s been a good start to the 2023-2024 OJHL season for the Menace, as they enter this game with a 17-4-2-0 record through 23 games. They have 36 points on the season, good for 2nd in the West Conference behind the Collingwood Blues. Milton is 3rd in the OJHL, and were recently ranked in the Top 20 (12th) for all of Canada. Their leading scorer has been their captain, Connor Driscoll. In 19 games this season, he has 11 goals and 20 assists.
As for the Buzzers, they’ve settled into the middle of the pack of the East Conference. Over 25 games, they’ve earned a 13-11-0-1 record, with 27 points. They’re currently 7th in their conference, 15 points out of 1st place. Mississauga-native David Elmy has been their difference maker, sniping home 21 goals in 25 games, and adding 11 assists to boot.
