
Menace Warm-Up 2019
It was a back-and-forth affair at the Milton Memorial Arena on Sunday night.
The Milton Menace hosted the Aurora Tigers on Sunday, November 19th. All 250 in attendance were treated to quite the game.
Aurora opened the scoring in the first period, before the Menace answered back just a few minutes later. Aidan Puley potted his ninth goal of the year, assisted by Connor Driscoll. The tie was then broken when the Tigers buried a second goal before the end of the period. It was 2-1 after 20-minutes.
The Menace powerplay was the story of the second period. Ivan Fabjan scored his eighth goal of the year on the PP, assisted by Justin O’Donnell. 12 minutes later, Fabjan would score again on the man advantage, his ninth of the year. This time it was assisted by Puley. Aurora would then tie the game up less than a minute later, but before the end of the frame, Madden MacDougall would score his ninth of the year, assisted by Fabjan and Driscoll. It was 4-3 Menace after two periods.
In the third period, Aurora tied the game quick, but the Menace answered back almost immediately. James Jagodic was credited with the goal ahead goal, assisted by Graeme Macauley. It would end up being the game winner. Milton beat Aurora 5-4.
In net was Glen Crandall. He got another win on the season, as he stopped 26 of 30 shots, giving him an .866% save percentage.
The Menace are back at home on Wednesday, November 22nd. They take in the St. Michaels Buzzers at the Milton Memorial Arena. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here.
