Induction ceremony of 2019 Milton Sports Hall of Fame
The Milton Sports Hall of Fame will induct its latest class next week!
For the first time ever, the induction ceremony will leave its home at the Milton Sports Centre and be held at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton, inside the Mattamy Theatre.
Ceremony Coordinator Rod McLachlan is excited to bring the event to a new location!
The Hall panels will be unveiled at the induction ceremony and then transported to their home at the Sports Centre. McLachlan says the Wall of Fame is a popular attraction for the building, which gets more than a million visitors every year.
The five inductees are:

-
Millie Evans (5-pin bowling – “Female Bowler of the Century”)
-

-
Milton Oldstars Hockey Club (over $1M raised for local charities)
McLachlan talks about each inductee, as well as their accomplishments in Milton and national sports.
