Halton Hills Fire Department at Eighth Line and 10 Sideroad
A vehicle fire in Georgetown is now being investigated by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
On Friday, November 3rd, at roughly 2:00 am, police attended a residence in the area of Trafalgar Road and 15 Side Road following reports of a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire did not spread beyond the vehicle and was quickly extinguished by the Halton Hills Fire Department.
Investigators also found shell casings at the scene and multiple bullet holes on the vehicle. However, no persons were located inside the vehicle, nor have any injuries believed to be linked to the occurrence been reported to police. Investigators believe this to be a targeted incident.
At the time of writing, no arrests have been made.
