The Milton Public Library is willing to forgive your for your late fees… for a unique price!
To celebrate Ontario Public Library Week and Canadian Library Month, the Milton Public Library (MPL) is holding the 6th annual Food for Fines Campaign. Until Thursday, November 16th, library patrons are able to make a donation to settle their overdue fines.
The donations will go towards the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) Infant Food Bank. All you do is bring essential items to any of the three MPL branch locations, and in exchange, the MPL will waive overdue library fines. Patrons are encouraged to donate the following items:
- Diapers (sizes five and six are especially needed)
- Menstrual Pad Boxes
- Baby Food Pouches
- Baby Cereals
