We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
READ: Nearly 200 weapons retrieved by Halton Police in ongoing weapons amnesty
The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, October 2nd and Monday, October 9th, there were at least 92 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:
CLOSER LOOK:
Among the 92 cases of crime, 45 were roadside tests, 22 were theft cases of some kind, and one was a robbery case.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
