Get ready for the return of Battle of the Chefs!
Local non-profit organization Food4Kids Halton is bringing back its signature event. The culinary showdown promises an evening of excellence, entertainment, and philanthropy.
“Since my first days here at Food4Kids Halton, I have been asked when we are bringing Battle of the Chefs back,” teases Dania Thurman, Executive Director of Food4Kids Halton. “I am thrilled to say the time is now! Attendees can expect a thrilling culinary showdown, where [local] chefs will go head-to-head in a friendly battle to create the most extraordinary dishes. Join us for a fun night celebrating Halton chefs while raising money to feed local children.”
Guests will enjoy exquisite samples from participating restaurants, offering a diverse array of flavours to satisfy every palate. There will also be a silent auction featuring exclusive items and experiences that will raise funds to support Food4Kids Halton’s mission.
If you’d like to get involved, Food4Kids Halton is seeking sponsors to support the event. Local restaurants are also invited to showcase their culinary talents by participating in the event. That includes local bakeries who want to showcase their treats. Anyone looking to donate items for the silent auction are welcome, as every item will add to the impact of the event.
Battle of the Chefs will be on Monday, November 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Oakville Conference Centre. Tickets are available online here. Proceeds will help fight child hunger in the Halton region.
