We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).

The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, September 4th and Monday, September 11th, there were at least 48 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:
Among the 48 cases of crime, nine were hit and run cases, eight were theft cases of some kind, and three were break and enter cases.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
