A big time name (or in this case, names) will be performing in Milton!
The FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton says that Tegan and Sara have officially been announced for their upcoming season lineup.
In June, the official season lineup was announced, and was headlined with names such as Burton Cummings, Dean Brody, and The Trews. They will now be joined by Tegan and Sara. The sisters launched their careers straight out of high school, from their hometown of Calgary, Alberta. Over the course of their career, they have sold more than one million records and released ten studio albums, including their latest release, “Crybaby.”
They have been honoured with numerous Grammy, Glaad, and Polaris nominations, as well as three Junos for their seventh studio album, “Heartthrob,” which included the pop juggernaut “Closer.” Their songs have been featured in TV shows like “Glee,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Girls,” and “Heartstopper.” In 2018, they received both a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award and the New York Civil Liberties Union Award.
Tegan and Sara are scheduled to perform in Milton on Saturday, March 30th, 2024. Exclusive presale tickets will be available to subscribers of the Centre’s newsletter, Encore, from Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, September 7th at 10:00 p.m. General public ticket sales will be available on Friday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m.
