A busy intersection in Milton will be going through delays after a tanker truck experienced mechanical failure.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the truck broke down on Ontario Street North, heading northbound, in one of the left hand turn lanes to get onto Steeles Avenue. This means the intersection is down to one turning lane, and it appears as though the far right lane is also blocked off.
Residents are asked to avoid the area to limit delays as much as possible.
Expect major delays on Ontario St North approaching Steeles Ave in Milton for the next few hours due to a mechanical failure on a tanker truck. Ontario St. North is down to only one turning lane. If possible please take an alternative route. ^cm pic.twitter.com/X02CcNmZh4
