
A 57-year-old Hamilton man is dead following a Highway 6 collision Wednesday morning.
The two-vehicle crash happened between Freelton and Concession 12 East in the Hamilton area at roughly 8:20 a.m. Sgt. Kerry Schmidt with the OPP Highway Division says the northbound passenger vehicle entered the southbound lane for an unknown reason and struck a delivery truck. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the delivery truck suffered minor injuries and remained on scene.
Officers are speaking with witnesses. If you witnessed the incident or have any other information regarding the collision, contact the Burlington OPP at (905) 681-2511.
The highway remained closed for several hours.
