Horse waiting for the Pepsi North America Cup in 2019
We now know the number of horses racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park’s 40th Pepsi North America Cup.
There will be 33 three-year-old horses racing for $1 million. Woodbine Mohawk Park says this is the most horses in the annual event since 2009.
With the high number, there will be a total of four elimination races needed to determine the field for the Pepsi North America Cup final. The four $50,000 eliminations will take place on Saturday, June 10th at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The top-two finishers from each elimination, plus two third-place finishers drawn by lot, will advance to the $1 million final on Saturday, June 17th.
You can view the list of horses racing this Saturday, and potentially the week after, here.
