The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Two additional deaths are shown in the totals. One was a Burlington resident, giving the city 215 total deaths. The other was a Halton Hills resident, giving the town 76 total deaths. Oakville remains at 152 total deaths. Milton remains at 87 total deaths. Halton is now at 530 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 30 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 59,385. There have been 1,893 total hospitalizations in Halton and 530 deaths.
In Milton, we had six new cases. That brings us to 15,186 total cases. There have been 428 total hospitalizations in Milton and 87 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,563,694 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,395,202 of the doses were to Halton residents.
