The results are in for McHappy Day in Milton!
On Wednesday, May 10th, McDonalds locations donated portions of the proceeds from every single menu item sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and other local charities. For Milton, the money went to the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF).
On Facebook, the MDHF shared that $10,500 was raised by McDonalds locations in Milton. They thanked franchise owner Cam Binnie, the McDonalds staff, and the many customers that stopped by to enjoy the day.
McHappy Day has been happening in Canada since 1977. On average, more than 26,000 families in Canada receive support from the RMHC every year.
