
Business operators and their commercial vehicle operators can attend a pair of information sessions on proper vehicle inspections.
The Halton Regional Police Service – Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit (CMV) will be hosting two information nights for the public. Each session will consist of a short presentation on how to complete a proper pre-trip inspection report and will follow with an open period for questions and answers.
These information sessions are ideal for new business operators, (including landscapers, contractors), or any Commercial Vehicle Owner/Operator who may have questions about:
- Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR’s)
- Pre-trip inspection reports
- Operator hours of service
- Periodic Mandatory Commercial Vehicle Inspection (PMCVI) Certificates
- Vehicle weight restrictions
Presenters will be officers from the CMV who are Certified Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Certified Inspectors.
