
The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show two additional deaths in the totals. Both deaths appear to be Burlington resident, putting the city at 202 total deaths. Oakville remains at 148 total deaths. Milton remains at 86 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 75. Halton is now at 511 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 97 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 58,794. There have been 1,806 total hospitalizations in Halton and 511 deaths.
In Milton, we had 14 new cases. That brings us to 15,088 total cases. There have been 409 total hospitalizations in Milton and 86 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,545,618 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,378,602 of the doses were to Halton residents.
Here’s a breakdown on ages of those receiving doses:

- 77,429 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
