A collision Saturday (mar18) morning claimed the life of an Alliston woman and sent 5 others to hospital.
Nottawasaga OPP responded to the accident scene around 10 o’clock, in the area of Highway 89, just west of Veteran’s Drive.
Police say 6 people were in the two vehicle involved, three of those were children.
A 70 year old woman was declared dead at the scene.
The driver and one child were taken to a Toronto Trauma Centere with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle and two other children were taken to a near by hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has dash-cam footage to contact them.
