We’re closing in on mid-March and snow is in the forecast. That’s not fun.
Environment Canada says that residents of Milton and the surrounding area can expect anywhere from 5-10cm on Friday, March 10th. It should start during the morning and carry into the early evening. Visibility on the roads may also be impacted during the heavier parts of the snowfall.
Here’s what the weather advisory says:
“Widespread snow will push across southwestern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe today. The evening commute will be affected by this snowfall.
“Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.”
Be careful! Drive slow, be safe, and stretch before any shoveling.
