The Milton Menace getting close to the end of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) regular season.
The team will head to Stouffville on Thursday, February 23rd to take on the Spirit at the Stouffville Spirit.
Heading into this game, the Menace are coming off a 3-2 win over the powerhouse Collingwood Blues. The playoff-bound team are 29-17-1-2 through 49 games this season. That gives them 61 points and places them in fifth in the OJHL North/West Conference. They’re one point back from the Pickering Panthers. The Menace rely heavily on star player Aidan Hughes, who leads the team with 30 goals and 43 assists in 49 games. View their player stats here.
As for the Spirit, their season hasn’t necessarily gone to plan. They’re sporting a 17-26-1-6 record over 50 games. They have 41 points and sit in eighth in the North/West Conference. The top player on the Spirit is Odaro Ewere, with 15 goals and 43 assists in all 50 games. View their player stats here.
Puck-drop at the Stouffville Arena is set for 7:30 p.m.
Their next home game will be on Sunday, February 26th against the Haliburton County Huskies. Game-time for that one is slated for 6:30 p.m. at the Milton Memorial Arena. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here.
The final regular season game for the Menace will be on Saturday, March 4th against the Collingwood Blues.
