An unknown Halton resident might need to check their lottery ticket.
OLG says that a ticket sold in Burlington is one of three ENCORE winners from the the Wednesday, January 4th LOTTO 6/49 Classic Draw. The other two ENCORE winning tickets were Mississauga and Windsor.
A jackpot winning ticket was also announced, with the $5 million ticket being sold in Woodbridge. To add on to that, a second prize-winning ticket worth $118,002.40 was sold in the Kawartha Lakes region.
If you purchased a lottery ticket in any of those areas, and you haven’t checked your ticket, do that right now!

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.
