Glen Eden has announced that it will remain closed indefinitely.
The lack of cold temperatures and consistent rainfall have impacted the Milton ski-hill’s staff’s snow production ability. It was reported that they had planned to re-open by Thursday, January 5th. As the week has gone by, and the overall weather hasn’t necessarily changed, Glen Eden took to Twitter to announce the extension to its temporary closure.
As it stands, the plan continues to be to hope for negative temperatures to allow any precipitation, and any work done by their snowmakers to maintain. There is no known date for re-opening.
For now, we don't have an exact re-opening date and we have closed our online booking system – we will keep you posted with updates as we continue to navigate this challenging week. Thank you for your kindness and understanding, we hope to see you back on the slopes soon!

Anyone who has booked a lift ticket for Thursday, January 5th or Friday, January 6th will be refunded over the next week. The booked slots are already cancelled.
