The recent snow fall might have some residents chomping at the bit to get out on their snow machines.
The Ontario Federation of Snow Mobile Clubs of Ontario says to hold off for a bit.
Mike Kuechler is the OFSC Administrator for District 4 and says while it might look like prime sledding weather, now is not the time.

Kuechler says the club is still in the process of staking out the trails and waiting for the ground to freeze.
He says if you really want to get some time in on your machine you might have to head north.
But he cautions sledders to check the Interactive Trail Guide to make sure the trails are actually open.
