UPDATE
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at an Oakville high school.
On Wednesday, December 7th at roughly 4:00 p.m., the HRPS responded to Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville in regards to an altercation that had broken out between a group of youths in the school foyer. Police arrived on scene and located three 15-year-old victims. As a result of the altercation, two of the victims suffered what appeared to be stab wounds to their bodies while the third victim had a bloodied nose. All three victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The school was placed into lockdown as officers investigated and cleared the school. Four suspects were identified as being involved in the altercation. No other schools were placed into lockdown.
A 15-year-old male from Oakville was located at the school and placed under arrest. He has been charged with:
- Assault
He was released on an Undertaking.
A 17-year-old male from Oakville was arrested shortly after the incident in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line in Oakville. He was put through Youth Diversion for the charge of Assault.
A 15-year-old male from Oakville was located at approximately 12:30 a.m. on December 8th in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line in Oakville. He was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm (2 counts)
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
An unnamed 19-year-old male from Oakville has been identified and a warrant has been issued for his arrest for the offences of:
- Assault with a Weapon (2 counts)
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm (2 counts)
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
All three victims have been treated and released from hospital at this time.

Two people have been arrested following a fight that broke out at a Halton school.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that at 4:07 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7th, officers received a report of a fight inside Garth Webb Public school on Westoak Trails Boulevard in Oakville.
Officers located three people with injuries who have been transported to area Hospitals. Their injuries do not appear life threatening.
The school was put into lockdown but this has since been lifted.
Two people have been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing and further updates will be provided at a later time.
